Yeah, its been a while... But that's because we had the winter blues. With winter around, and a very, very, VERY small budget, you kind of get stuck in a rut with nothing to do. Which is what happened to us. Well, except for Mike. He and some of his friends ventured off to.... You guessed it. VEGAS! If anyone knows Mike and his friends you would have known that right off; where else do they go?? So finally spring break happened so Mike and his friends took a break to Vegas. I don't know how to upload pictures from his phone onto our blog yet so no pics. Sorry.
Besides Vegas, with the weather being nice we have been making it outside to go on walks. The other day we actually took a picnic down to the park. It was so wonderful! I took a nap, and Mike actually read a book! I know, amazing huh? Well, we went and saw The Hunger Games on Friday. I've read all the books multiple times so I knew what was going on. Mike, on the other hand, who is not a reader, had not read any of the books, therefore was confused the whole time and kept having Barbara explain things to him. He tried to have me explain things but I about strangled him with my purse, Hunger Games style, so he gave up on me :) Ever since the movie, Mike has been reading the book. I'm actually surprised at how much he has read. Last time he tried to read a book after a movie (The DaVinci Code) he only lasted like one chapter and got sick of it. I guess it just goes to show how AMAZING The Hunger Games series really is!
Other than the movie and walks our life has been boring, aside from the 5, yes FIVE!, new babies in the family. Triplets from sister-in-law Natalie (all girls), and a boy from sister-in-law Lindsey, and another boy from cousin-in-law Tracey. Way to go gals on being awesome mommies! Look forward to meeting all these youngsters in the near future. Can't wait til I can add one to the mix :)
Ha ha! I laughed when you were talking about Mike reading, because Jake is exactly the same way...he does not like reading...but the other night I was sick in bed and come to find out, rather than doing anything else while he was bored by himself, he read Hunger Games for like an hour! Ha ha I think it does attest to the amazingness of them... (though I haven't actually read them yet...sin, I know..). Also, that is AWESOME that your sis-in-law had triplets!! I would LOVE that! How exciting for you!
