New Things

Mike has been complaining about our old bedroom furniture for a while now and we've been looking for some new stuff. Then one day we found it. We just happened to go to RC Willey for some free hot dogs on President's day. We weren't planning on buying anything or even looking around at all. The table we sat at the eat just happened to have an ad on it. We picked it up and started looking at it when we came across this bedroom set. Black, sleek and cool. Bed, night stand and dresser for 799, plus a free 23 inch TV. I liked the look of it, Mike liked the TV. So we went and found someone to show us where it was. 2 hours and lots of paperwork later we were driving home figuring out how we were going to pick it up. We got home and I cleaned out our bedroom of the old stuff, Mike got some friends who had big vehicles to take out our old stuff and pick up our new stuff. One long day later, this is what our room looks like:

 Mike loves this because now we watch a movie almost every night as we fall asleep. Mind you, I get home from work around 11:30, take a shower then go to bed. And we still watch a movie. I try not to complain because that's the only time we have to watch movies. It usually takes us a few nights to finish the movie cuz we fall asleep during it, obviously. We love it

Something else we recently acquired is a grill/smoker from my aunt and uncle. They were moving and I guess didn't want to take it with them. My mom was helping them move and remembered we had told her we wanted one. So we went and picked it up. Mike is so excited to start grilling on it this summer and learn all my dad's and his dad's tricks of smoking. I'm excited for delicious food we will create with it!

Here its sitting in my flower bed but Mike has since moved it to sit on our small square of cement at the top of our stairs.
