Happy Valentine's Day!
This was our second Valentine's day together, but the first one we really celebrated. Last year we were in St. George with my family and I kind of wish we were there again right now. But I'm glad we weren't, cuz if we were, Mike wouldn't have been able to do what he did for me.
I had school until 5 pm last night. When I got home, this is what I found:
Mike is such a cutie! I was so proud of him for making dinner all by himself! Like, totally all by himself. He thought of it, got everything and also cooked it, all by himself. So contrary to popular belief, Mike does have a sensitive, romantic side, its not all sports and toughness inside him. He made salmon with a cajun jerk rub, and baked potatoes. So so so delicious!
I kind of knew Mike had something up his sleeves for me so I decided to do something nice for him. I bought a picture quote that says,
"I will always keep falling in love with you."
So cute, huh? Well, I decided that wasn't enough, plus he's a man and wouldn't really like that a whole ton. So on my way home from school I stopped at Smith's and bought him a gigantic bag of sour patch kids. For those of you who don't know Mike, like at all, these are his most favoritist things in the whole wide world, as far as candy goes. ESPN and me come before them, maybe even in that order :)
