Little Update

So our summer has started out kind of exciting. Well, for me anyway. I have been doing my clinicals for my school program. I love them so much! I would love them even more if I was getting paid for them, as in it was my actual job instead of just clinicals. I've been driving up to Bear River Valley Hospital, thats in Tremonton, every other day. It's a long drive but I survive it by belting out my favorite songs I've put on cds that I listen to. Obviously, my clinicals are in the laboratory. Its so interesting! Its definitely way cooler than school. I've been able to draw blood from people, I've ran all the test they do in their lab, and I've helped fix problems and trouble shoot different things. I can't wait til I can find a job as an MLT doing what I love.
In the mean time, Mike has been taking care of our house and looking for a job. Today he has an interview with Dick's Sporting Goods in the Gateway mall. Our fingers are crossed that he will get it. Its totally up his alley and he would love it! And it will be nice cuz he'd probably be able to ride Frontrunner and Trax to get there so he wouldn't be using up a ton of gas either! Mike is also doing a summer math class that will hopefully fulfill all his math requirements for school so he won't have to do anymore of this torturesome nonsense. I was so happy last night when Mike told me he was actually enjoying doing math in this class. But that just goes to show how stupid Weber's math program is, that he can't enjoy it at the school but he can when he takes it from someone else. Oh well, at least he'll be done with math and I won't have to hear him complain about it anymore :)
Other than our school/work stuff we've been up to, we've been able to hang out with a lot of our friends. That's what I love about summer, you don't have to worry about school and doing homework, you can just chill with people. We've helped our friends Blake and Juliana move into their new home and set everything up. We're so excited for them to start their new life together. Marriage is awesome and I'm so excited for everyone else who gets to share in this marvelous adventure. Also having our Logan friends come down a few times has been great! We always miss Zach, Maury, Phil and Heather so it's always good to see them every once in a while.
All in all our summer is off to a good-ish start. I just with me and Mike had more time together, with his class and my clinicals and work, we hardly see each other. But I know this state is temporary and once we get done with school and both have day jobs life will be even better!
