New Year, New Fun

Well, school just started today. It should be an exciting semester. This will actually be my last semester in school for awhile. I'm graduating with my Associate of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science. I'll get a job doing that, start a family and then in a couple years do the Bachelor's CLS program online.
My last semester includes Microbiology, Chemistry and a class known as Blood Bank. Micro is my favorite subject! We get to grow bacteria and parasites and look at them under the microscope and do tests on them. Chemistry is ok, my teacher is cool but the lab is boring. I'm excited for blood bank! I've heard it's a killer of a class but I think it will be very interesting.
Mike is also taking classes this semester. He is taking more classes than me because unfortunately he has more to take til he's done. He's finally in math 1010 after struggling through 950 and 960, we are both very happy he made it through! Other than math he is also taking Earthquakes and volcanoes, P.E. for kids with disabilities, Fit for life, and Library science. 3 are gen eds he still has to finish and the other 2 are for his major. He has an interview this semester to get into the teaching program. He took the C.A.A.P. test and passed the writing skills and the essay portions. He only missed the math section by one point! We were very excited about that since math is pretty much his worst subject. So he just has to retake the math and science portions. Hopefully he will get into the teaching program for Fall semester then he only has about 2 years left in school!
Life is just plowing along and we have to keep up with it. Life is very exciting this year as we progress as a couple and move on in our life!
